The Birth Lab

A culturally grounded maternal mental health program for young Black and Brown birthing people

The Birth Lab is a community-based mental health program designed for young Black and Brown mothers and birthing people, especially those navigating pregnancy and postpartum while facing housing instability, trauma, or systemic barriers.

We provide a holistic network of support that centers identity, lived experience, and healing—not punishment. Our goal is to ensure every young birthing person receives the mental health care, tools, and community they deserve.
