Executive Director & Co-Founder

Dr. Jaih Craddock is a public health social worker, therapist, and researcher who co-founded Black Girls Mental Health Foundation.

She brings over a decade of experience in clinical practice, community based research, and program development focused on maternal mental health. She has published more than 24 peer reviewed articles and secured over $5 million in funding to support Black women and families.

At BGMHF, she leads culturally affirming programs, including therapy voucher access and training scholarships for birth workers.

Co-Founder & Chief Development Officer

Dr. Chyna Hill is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in perinatal mental health, trauma informed care, and culturally affirming therapy.

She co-founded Black Girls Mental Health Collective Foundation and leads efforts to expand access to culturally competent maternal mental health care.

Her career includes direct service work with survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking, experience that shapes her approach to healing and community support today.

Co-Founder & Director of Clinical Services

Breea Wainwright is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over a decade of experience providing trauma informed care to Black women, children, and families.

She is endorsed in California as an Infant-Family Mental Health Specialist and specializes in Child-Parent Psychotherapy, including perinatal applications.

Breea leads BGMHF's clinical services and provides supervision to clinicians working toward licensure and infant mental health endorsement.

Director of Operations

Yuri is a first generation immigrant and first generation student, born in Toluca, Mexico and raised in Coos Bay, Oregon. She holds an MSW from the University of Michigan and an MBA, a combination that shapes how she leads.

At BGMH, she brings together her social work training and business skills to keep the organization running efficiently while staying rooted in its mission.

Outside of work, she loves hiking, tennis, and getting outdoors any chance she gets.

Director of Learning and Development

Stephanie brings more than 15 years of leadership experience in operations, technology, and business strategy to her work across BGMHF, BGMHC, and The Continuum Collective.

Before moving into nonprofit leadership, she held senior roles at TIAA Bank and Avaya Communications, leading cross functional teams and driving business strategy. She holds an MBA from the University of Arizona and a BA from the University of South Florida.

Today she applies that same strategic rigor to fundraising, partnerships, event production, and marketing for the organization.

Director of Programs and Community Engagement

Dená develops and oversees programs that expand access to culturally responsive mental health education and support for Black women and families.

With a background in psychology and sociology and over a decade in education and community programming, she leads initiatives in perinatal mental health and relationship education. She is certified in the Gottman Institute's Bringing Baby Home program.

Outside of work, she loves traveling, beach days, reading thrillers, and cheering on the San Francisco Giants.

Senior Development Associate

Erika supports the organization's fundraising and development efforts, including grant research, writing and submissions, tracking funding opportunities, and the administrative work that helps move programs forward.

She enjoys working behind the scenes to help mission driven organizations grow and connect resources to the communities that need them.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, doing fun activities with her kids, and traveling.

Operations Manager

Ira is a nonprofit and operations professional with more than a decade of experience supporting executives and mission driven teams. Her background spans executive support, HR, administration, and event coordination, and she holds a degree in Psychology.

Known for a practical, figure it out approach, she helps turn priorities into action and keeps initiatives moving forward.

Outside of work, she is a mom and daughter first, and she loves hosting family and friends at home.

Process and Automation Specialist

Cha specializes in process improvement, systems integration, and no code development. She turns manual, complex workflows into streamlined digital solutions across the organization.

She enjoys finding practical ways to save time and help teams focus on what matters most.

Outside of work, she is a mom who recently took up pickleball and loves the community that comes with it.

Marketing Manager

Joyce is a marketing and creative professional with experience in digital marketing. She supports mission-driven organizations and small businesses with their digital presence.

She love using creativity and marketing to support work that has a real impact on people and their communities. As a mom, she is especially drawn to work that supports women, mothers, and families and helps make resources and information easier to find and access.

Outside of work, she loves cooking, food photography, traveling, and spending time with her family.

HR

Skylar has been part of the team for over a year, supporting HR needs and community event logistics. Her background spans sales and health care, including one on one care for children with autism.

She was drawn to this work after seeing the discrimination Black women often face in the health field, and she is proud to support an organization built for people who look like her.

Sales Manager

Robert is a customer success leader with experience in strategic account management, client success, and business development.

He focuses on driving growth and retention while keeping the organization's purpose at the center of his work.

Outside of work, he enjoys outreach activities, pickleball, and his LifeGroup community.

Business Development Associate

Denisse is part of the Sales Team, supporting the organization's growth through relationship building, outreach, sales coordination, and business development. She focuses on connecting with prospective partners, clients, and organizations while identifying opportunities that align with the Collective's mission and services.

She finds fulfillment in contributing to a mission driven organization that supports the well being of the communities it serves.

Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.

Social Media Assistant / Design Specialist

Lara spent close to ten years in sales and account management before moving into social media and design work. She now creates content, campaigns, and design presentations for Black Girls Mental Health.

The role gives her the balance to care for her twins while doing creative work she loves.

Outside of work, she enjoys photography, dancing, and traveling with her family.

Operations Assistant

Carren has a degree in Psychology and spent a decade teaching grade school before transitioning into virtual assistant work with nonprofits in 2022.

She operates mostly behind the scenes, handling the details that keep the team running and able to serve its mission. She is drawn to BGMH's focus on perinatal mental health and its commitment to birthing parents.

Outside of work, she serves in her church's welcoming ministry and is a big fan of TREASURE and BIGBANG.

Administrative Assistant

Paula is an HR and administrative professional with 3+ years in HR operations and over 9 years of leadership and administrative experience. She supports recruitment, onboarding, employee records, and event coordination for the team.

She was drawn to BGMH's advocacy for mental healthcare that women of color deserve, and its warm, authentic culture.

Outside of work, she has three dogs and recently started making her own matcha lattes.
