Empowering Black Women & Families Through Systems-Level Solutions

WHO WE ARE

The Black Girls Mental Health Foundation advances mental health equity for Black Women, Black Birthing People, and their families. Based in Oakland and Los Angeles, we fund therapy for low-income Black mothers, offer scholarships for perinatal mental health training, and conduct research that shapes better policy and care locally and virtually across California and Georgia.
